Advantus does not manage assets directly for individual investors. We provide advisory services to life insurance companies, mutual fund companies and retirement plan sponsors within products they offer to individual investors.

Advantus serves as investment advisor to retail mutual fund companies, such as Ivy Funds, and to the Advantus Series Fund, which is available to individuals through variable insurance products offered by Minnesota Life Insurance Company. We also manage investments available through employer-sponsored retirement plans, such as those offered by Securian Retirement Services. In addition, we manage investments available through group variable insurance products issued by Minnesota Life.
