James W. Tobin, CFA Vice President, Private Placements

As Vice President of Private Placements, Jim reviews and recommends new private placement loan investments to Advantus portfolio managers and manages the bid process. He also monitors a portfolio of private loans for quality and other covenant issues, and performs public bond analysis for selected issues.

Jim is a CFA Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.
