Robert L. Senkler President, Advantus Capital Management Chairman and CEO, Securian Financial Group

Bob leads the strategic planning for the asset management business and is involved in business development for Advantus. In addition, Bob plays a leading role in shaping the Securian enterprise strategy and maintaining its financial strength. Bob has been President of Advantus since 2007, and Chairman and CEO of Securian, the parent company of Advantus, since 1995. He has been in the financial services industry since 1974.

Bob currently serves on the boards of HealthEast, Hubbard Broadcasting and several other organizations, including Capital City Partnership, past chairman; Minnesota Business Partnership, chairman; and the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
