As Associate Portfolio Manager, Lowell is involved in selecting securities for the real estate portfolios at Advantus, in addition to other portfolio management activities. Active in the investment industry since 1989, Lowell’s hands-on experience in the real estate market includes property management, leasing, negotiating sales and placement of financed debt.

Lowell is a CFA Charterholder, a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.
