Jon R. Thompson, CFA Vice President, Structured Finance

Jon researches and conducts due diligence for investments in all real estate-related structured finance sectors, including mortgage-backed securities (agency and non-agency) and residential asset-backed securities (home equity and manufactured housing). He makes buy and sell recommendations to all Advantus accounts. Jon also has credit responsibility for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Jon has been in the investment industry since 1997, when he joined Advantus. He is a CFA Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.
