Kathleen H. Parker, CFA Vice President and Portfolio Manager

In her 33 years in the investment industry, Kathy has managed fixed income portfolios and client relationships for a broad array of institutional clients. These clients have included pension plans, endowments, Taft-Hartley health and welfare plans, insurance companies and bank portfolios. Her responsibilities have included developing investment strategy, selecting securities and sector allocations, trading, credit reviews and performance management. Currently, Kathy manages portfolios for a number of insurance clients at Advantus and is the client service manager for several of the firm’s total return clients.

Kathy is a CFA Charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota, and a former president of the Cincinnati Society of Financial Analysts.
