Sean O'Connell, CFA Vice President, Director of Real Estate & Structured Finance Research

Sean has been in the investment industry since he joined Advantus in 1993. He is responsible for directing the research, evaluation and recommendation of purchase and sale for all real estaterelated fixed income and equity holdings for various accounts at Advantus. Sean also manages key investment professionals in quantitative analysis, ABS/MBS analysis, commercial whole loan mortgages, structured finance and trading.

Sean is a CFA Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.
